Covid-19 Policies & Procedures

Our office follows infection control guidelines made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Vermont Department of Health and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these organizations so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. All staff members are screened daily for any signs of illness, temperatures are taken and recorded and all staff members have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

In order to maintain social distancing, we will not be using our waiting room. Instead, when you arrive for your appointment please remain in your car and call the office to announce your arrival. At the appropriate time, you will be asked to enter the office where you will be met by a staff member who will ask you some screening questions, take your temperature and sanitize your hands. You must wear a mask when entering the office space.  While you are in the office continue wearing your mask until you are asked to remove it. We will contact you a day or two prior to your appointment to confirm and clarify any questions that you may have.

As a result of the recent “Stay at Home” situation we are experiencing a considerable backlog of patients needing to be seen. Appointments will be managed to accommodate the extra time needed to implement the necessary infection control measures and to allow for social distancing between patients. This may mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment for the foreseeable future.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep our patients and staff safe.

Sincerely,

Richard Wollensak DDS
and Staff.
